About the event

CTF Tech, in collaboration with Telia and the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Estonia, is proud to host Telia Cyber Battle of Nordic-Baltics & CyberSpike 2024 final on November 1, 2024, at the University of Tartu Sports Hall. Concurrently, the Nordic-Baltic Educators’ Forum Cybercation will take place as a side event for the third time.

Telia Cyber Battle of Nordic-Baltics 2024 is the largest ethical hacking event for students in the Nordics and Baltics. It aims to raise awareness of cybersecurity among young people and educational institutions. The competition is designed to teach the fundamentals of cybersecurity in a practical, real-life, and ethical manner to develop and improve skills.

CyberSpike is Estonia’s top cybersecurity competition for young talents aged 14-25 years. The competition includes an online qualification round, from which the most outstanding contestants will be invited to the main competition.

Cybercation is the Nordic-Baltic Educators’ Forum, organized exclusively for educators, IT teachers, representatives of educational organizations, youth specialists, IT/cyber education enthusiasts, civil servants, policymakers, and businesses. This event is set to revolutionize how we approach cybersecurity education, aiming to provide the cybersecurity experts that our societies are in high need of.

Telia Cyber Battle of Nordic-Baltics 2024 & CyberSpike final

On November 1, 2024, the Telia Cyber Battle of Nordic-Baltics 2024 x CyberSpike 2024 final will take place in the Sports Hall of the University of Tartu (Ujula 4). The competition is meant for young cyber talents aged 14-25 years.

The Telia Cyber Battle of Nordic-Baltics 2024 is the largest ethical hacking event for students in the Nordics and Baltics. It aims to raise awareness of cybersecurity among young people and educational institutions. The competition aims to teach the fundamentals of cybersecurity in a practical, real-life, and ethical manner to develop and improve skills.

The winners of the CyberSpike competition, placing first to third in both the younger (14-20 years old) and older (21-25 years old) categories, will be awarded the CyberSpike trophy by CR 14. Additionally, participants in the main round will be offered various opportunities for further development through camps and subsequent online competitions in Estonia or abroad via TalTech. Similarly, students in grades 11-12 can apply for studies at TalTech under special conditions: https://taltech.ee/eritingimustel-taltechi.

CyberSpike is organized in collaboration with CR 14, the Ministry of Defence, TalTech, and the Cyber Command.

Cybercation

On November 1, 2024, Cybercation will take place in the Sports Hall of the University of Tartu (Ujula 4). The idea of Cybercation was initiated by the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia. Cybercation is the Nordic-Baltic Educators’ Forum, organized exclusively for educators, IT teachers, representatives of educational organizations, youth specialists, IT/cyber education enthusiasts, civil servants, policymakers, and businesses. This event is set to revolutionize how we approach cybersecurity education, intending to provide the cybersecurity experts that our societies greatly need.
